CPD packages for migration firms
Every registered agent in your practice needs 10 CPD points this registration year — at least 5 from Category A live activities, including the two mandatory topics. Chasing that individually means every agent booking separately, paying separately, and forwarding certificates to whoever keeps the compliance records.
A team enrolment replaces that with one email and one invoice.
How a team enrolment works
- One roster, one invoice. Send the list of agents (names and MARNs) and which activities each needs — live workshops, self-paced modules, or the full 10-point year. The practice receives a single tax invoice instead of per-agent card payments.
- Individual compliance, handled. Each agent studies and is assessed under their own login; completions are certificated individually and reported to OMARA under each agent's MARN. Your practice gets the full completion record for its files.
- The mandatory topics covered. The live program includes both mandatory topics — ethical standards and the Code of Conduct — so the whole team's Category A minimum can be met with one provider.
- Delivered by a practising RMA. All sessions are presented by Keshab Chapagain (MARN 1576536), OMARA-approved provider PPA10000420 — CPD written by someone doing the same work your agents do.
Email the roster — cpd@widen.com.au
Or call 02 8188 1887. Pricing is per agent at the published activity rates; ask for a whole-year quote for rosters of five or more.
What your agents can take
- The CPD Weekend — up to 9 live Category A points across two days, both mandatory topics included. The fastest way to bring a whole team's Category A requirement current at once.
- Individual live sessions and Category B modules — from ethics and the Code to the 482 nomination series (GPS drafting, salary evidence and LMT, professional responsibility) for practices doing employer-sponsored work.
- The 482 Nomination Preparation Series — three Category B modules that double as practice training for nomination work.
Why firms centralise CPD
The practical reason is audit-readiness: OMARA can ask a practice to evidence its agents' CPD, and a single provider means a single, consistent completion record instead of certificates scattered across inboxes. The commercial reason is quieter — agents who leave CPD to the final weeks of their registration year end up taking whatever is available rather than what is useful. A practice that books the year in one decision gets CPD that actually serves its casework.
Widen CPD is provided by Dynamic Consultancy Pty Ltd (ABN 19 167 039 250) trading as Widen Migration Experts — OMARA-approved CPD provider PPA10000420. Activities, points and mandatory-topic status are as approved by OMARA at the time of delivery.
