Ethics is one of two mandatory CPD topics for registered migration agents. You must complete at least 1 CPD point on ethics each registration year — here's what it covers and how to tick it off properly.
At least 1 of your 10 CPD points must be on ethics each registration year. It's counted within your 10 — not an extra point.
Migration advice is a position of trust. Agents handle vulnerable clients, sensitive personal information and high-stakes decisions, often under pressure. The mandatory ethics point exists to keep the ethical obligations that govern migration practice front of mind — not as a box-tick, but because the hardest calls in practice are rarely about the law; they're about judgment.

Doing ethics as a live session is the efficient move: one activity satisfies the mandatory ethics topic and chips away at your Category A minimum.
Widen CPD offers ethics CPD as both a live Category A session and a self-paced module — OMARA-approved, delivered by a practising registered migration agent.
