Enter what you have completed in the 12 months before you plan to lodge, and the calculator applies the 2026 rules: 10 points, at least 5 Category A, 1 ethics, 1 Code of Conduct, and no more than 6 online points in 24 hours. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
How the calculator works
Total: 10 points in the 12 months before you lodge repeat registration. Anything older is ignored, so count only activities inside that window. The window explained →
Category A minimum: at least 5 of the 10. Category B beyond 5 points does not reduce the live sessions you still need. What counts as Category A →
Mandatory topics: 1 ethics point and 1 Code of Conduct point, either category, inside your 10. If you have 10 points but have not covered a topic, you still need an activity for it.
Minimum days: no more than 6 online points count in any continuous 24-hour period, so the remaining points divided by 6, rounded up, is the fewest days you can finish in if everything is online.
Cost: Widen's prices, A$30 per session or module, or a Points Pass at A$220 for 10 points and A$125 for 5. All prices →
The calculator reflects LIN 26/001. If you lodge between 1 April 2026 and 31 March 2027, activities completed on or before 30 June 2026 are assessed under the old rules and may be treated more generously. Transitional rules →
Close the gap with Widen CPD
OMARA-approved live Category A sessions and self-paced modules, mandatory topics included, A$30 incl. GST each or a 10-point Points Pass for A$220. Every completion is certified and reported to the OMARA.
10 points in the 12 months before you lodge, minus what you have completed, but never fewer than the live Category A points needed to reach 5, and never fewer than the number of mandatory topics (ethics, Code of Conduct) you have not yet covered. The calculator above applies those rules.
I have 10 Category B points. Am I done?
No. At least 5 of your 10 must be Category A (live, interactive). Only 5 Category B points count in a standard year, so you still need 5 live points.
I have 10 points but have not done an ethics activity. What now?
You still need an activity approved for the ethical standards topic, because the mandatory topics must be covered within your CPD. One additional ethics activity (Category A or B) fixes it.
Is my data stored?
No. The calculator runs in your browser and nothing you enter is sent to Widen or anyone else.
