Good news: with an OMARA-approved provider, most of the reporting is handled for you. But you should still keep your own evidence — here's how CPD records work and what to hold onto for re-registration.
Approved providers report your completed activities to the OMARA. Your job is to keep your own record of what you've done — provider, activity number, date, points and category — so you can show it if asked.
When you complete an activity with an OMARA-approved CPD provider, the provider records your completion against your MARN and reports it. That's why it matters to complete CPD with approved providers and to give your correct MARN and registered name when you book — it's how your completion is matched to you.
At Widen CPD, every live session and self-paced module you finish is recorded against your MARN and reported to the OMARA, and you receive a completion confirmation for your own file.
Keep your own evidence for each activity, even when the provider reports it. A simple CPD log with these fields is enough:
| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Provider | Widen CPD (OMARA-approved) |
| Activity name & OMARA activity number | Ethical Standards for RMAs — (activity no.) |
| Date completed | 19 September 2026 |
| Points & category | 1 point · Category A |
| Evidence | Completion certificate / email confirmation |
Hold your CPD evidence at least until your registration has been renewed, and for any record-keeping period the OMARA specifies. If you're ever unsure, keep it longer — the records are small, and they're your proof if a query comes up.
With Widen CPD, your live sessions and modules are recorded against your MARN and reported to the OMARA — and you can see what you've completed any time in your portal.
